A delegation of the CNO met the FME on Tuesday in furtherance of ASUP strike discussion with the government. From the look of things ASUP has communicated the acceptance offer of the release of the N15B revitalisation fund for infrastructure in the sector. They have equally communicated the acceptance of the offer of the immediate release of the arrears of the new minimum wage. The other offers as read out in the Last NEC were communicated and as well accepted by the ASUP. As at now ASUP are at the point of implementation of the accepted offers and again, this is yet another test of integrity for the government and its officials.
